Objective

The Gujarat Government has setup an SPV namely “Gujarat Fibre Grid Network Limited (GFGNL)” to implement Phase-II of BharatNet Project in Gujarat.

This SPV has been created to synergize with the efforts of Government of India under the National Optical Fibre Network and Digital India initiative and make focused efforts to actualize a state-to-village fibre grid and to facilitate building common Government owned infrastructure to provide internet facilities to residents of State of Gujarat

Mission

Provisioning of up to 1Gbps bandwidth at 7692 Gram Panchayat (including 170 District and Taluka Centers enroute) of state of Gujarat covered under BharatNet phase II in the stipulated time period.
To leverage on the state of art tools & technologies in combination of the sector specific good practices in designing, formation and management of the proposed network.
To craft a viable commercial ecosystem by bridging the gap between the commercial forces and untapped demand in rural areas.

Starting Hours of the Office:10.30 hrs
Closing Hours of the Office: 18.10 hrs
Recess Hours:14.00 hrs to 14.30 hrs

The files are submitted by Executive Assistants/ Executives to the respective GM (Projects) / Director and then to the Managing Director.

All files relating to financial matters are routed through Chief Finance Officer (CFO) & Admin Officer before submission to the Managing Director

Manual - 4: The Norms set by it for the discharge of functions:

Instructions, Office Orders issued by the management from time to time and the relevant Govt . Resolutions issued by various Govt. Depts. like Science & Technology Dept , Finance Dept. , General Administration Dept. etc. are followed for Discharge of Functions by the officers and the employees.

Gujarat Fibre Grid Network Ltd. does not have any direct contact with the public for the present.
